Lisbon is a beautiful and old city with many monuments and interesting cultures. This city was restored after the earthquake at 1755.The capital of Portugal is Lisbon.


We prepared a project for the foreign students.


This project includes a cultural visit, Portuguese classes and information about our city.

Portugal has some famous food. The most famous and delicious are:
   






Snails are a  typical Portuguese entry. The snails are cooked and serve it with the sauce.


 
 
Is a typical Portuguese dish of cod. Being one of the most popular dishes made with this fish, consists of codfish shredded with potatos, onion,  olives and parsley.
 It's a cake very much appreciated at Christmas and Epiphany, comes with candied fruit.



This is the most famous cooking of Portugal takes pork and beef, Portuguese typical sausages, vegetables and potatoes.



The sardines are a traditional dish of Portuguese cuisine, from the region of Lisbon and Tejo Valley and is one of the 7 Wonders of Gastronomy in Portugal.








All regions of Portugal have their own traditional dances and songs, whose origins are lost in time often.
The best examples of regional dances are seen, the foul, the corridinho, the tyrant, the floclore and fandango.
For example The term is derived from the English folklore (Britishness) Folk (people) and Lore (wisdom).
Folklore means the science that deals with the collection of the popular traditions of a region or period. Folklore can be expressed in various ways, but the most known and used is the dance, which is not at random that has the same name "Folklore".
Folklore is the people, the creation of the people and, of course, is for the people.

Many of these dances reflect the traditions dating each region and are executed with great joy and exuberance.







Portugal is internationally known for its folk tradition, which emphasizes the Fado and foclore. They are musical genres that defines the spirit Portuguese and is directly related to the history and cultural roots Portuguese.
